Off-Lead Walking Policy
During your dog’s initial assessment, we’ll discuss whether off-lead walks are suitable for them. We will only allow your dog off lead if we have your written consent and you’re happy for them to do so.
For safety, we always use our own leads and require that all dogs wear a harness or collar with an up-to-date ID tag. The tag must include your dog’s name and your correct contact details, including house number, postcode, and phone number.
What do you do on wet and rainy days?
I’m out and about in all kinds of weather, so a little rain won’t stop your dog’s walk. After wet outings, I’ll make sure they’re towel dried before heading home to help keep muddy paw prints at bay.
During hot weather, your dog’s safety always comes first. I closely monitor the temperature, and if it’s too warm to walk, I’ll swap the walk for a home visit instead. This way, your dog still gets fresh water, toilet breaks, and plenty of love and attention.
Cancellation Policy
All services (excluding House Sitting Packages)
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance can be moved to another date.
When completing your pet’s assessment, you’ll be provided with our Terms and Conditions either on paper or by email. We kindly ask that you read through them and sign a copy to confirm.

Do I need a meet and greet before
I can book?
Yes – before welcoming a new pet into the Lady & Paws gang, I arrange a free 30-minute assessment visit at your home.
This is a chance for us to meet in person, go through my Terms & Conditions, and cover all the important information about your pet’s care. Most importantly, it gives your pet(s) the opportunity to meet me too, so they feel happy and comfortable before any bookings begin.
